Brooklyn Yeshiva Students Take To Twitter After Getting Kicked Off Plane

The 101 Brooklyn Yeshiva students kicked off of a AirTran flight on Monday for allegedly not turning off their cell phones have, predictably, taken to Twitter to air their grievances.

The students then had to deal with a series of flights (which they avoided any trouble with the pilots on), and eventually made it to Atlanta for fun at Six Flags.

A student tried to clarify what happened on the plane:

"It blew out of proportion. It was a mountain out of a molehill," teacher Marian Wielgus told CNN.

Southwest released a statement on the incident, saying, "Some passengers in the group would not sit down in their seats and some were using their mobile devices. Both are violations of Federal Air Regulations, as well as our policies. The crew, led by the Captain, asked several times that the passengers comply with regulations. The issue ultimately delayed the flight?s departure to Atlanta. All members of the group were accommodated on other flights this morning."

The Yeshiva class enjoyed a visit to the Coca-Cola plant today.
